DigitalX Limited has officially launched its new Strategic Advisory Board, bringing in two high-profile names from the global blockchain and digital asset space — Yat Siu of Animoca Brands and Hervé Larren of Airvey.io.
The move follows the company’s July 8 announcement and marks a key step in shaping DigitalX’s Bitcoin-first treasury strategy. Both Siu and Larren have now signed advisory agreements, confirming their roles in guiding the company’s long-term vision.
Good to know
The new Advisory Board will work closely with DigitalX’s directors and executive team, providing insights on global digital asset trends, forming strategic partnerships, identifying capital market opportunities, and positioning the company for growth.
Interim CEO Demetrios Christou said the appointments strengthen DigitalX’s ability to execute on its Bitcoin-first approach:
“We are delighted to formalise our Strategic Advisory Board with the appointments of Yat Siu and Hervé Larren. Both bring exceptional global networks, market knowledge and strategic insights that will be invaluable as we implement our Bitcoin-first treasury strategy.”
Chairman Leigh Travers highlighted how the move aligns with DigitalX’s vision:
“The calibre of our Strategic Advisory Board reflects the strength of our vision and the growing global recognition of Bitcoin as a premier treasury asset. With Yat’s and Hervé’s experience, we are well positioned to execute on our growth strategy and explore new opportunities in capital markets and Bitcoin innovation.”
The company’s decision to pivot away from Solana accumulation and staking toward a pure Bitcoin-focused treasury also prompted an update to its existing agreement with Antanas Guoga, mostly known by iGaming.org readers as Tony G, the poker legend. Under the revised terms, Guoga will continue providing insights that align with the company’s Bitcoin-first focus.
