On Saturday, crypto lending platform BlockFi revealed that an unauthorized third party had gotten hold of some of its customer data.
The breach includes personal information of a majority of its clients, including names, emails and phone numbers, which possibly could have been obtained.
BlockFi confirmed that the breach had happened on Friday through one of its third-party vendors, Hubspot- a sales management platform.
In a series of Tweets, the crypto lender assures that its internal systems and client funds were not impacted, and that it still investigating the full scope of the data breach.
