Coinbase Global (COIN) will start offering a “small set” of its app users to access Ethereum-based decentralized apps (dapps) straight from the Coinbase app.
According to a blog post Monday, the new feature will help users purchase non-fungible tokens (NFT) on various marketplaces including OpenSea and Coinbase’s own NFT platform. It will also improve the trading experience on decentralized exchanges including Uniswap and SushiSwap.
The service also includes borrow and lend through decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms like Curve and Compound.
Powered by Coinbase’s new dapp wallet and browser, the company said it will first be rolling out the new services to a limited number of Android users in the U.S. after which it plans to gradually expand access to all users and platforms.
