ClubNFT Partners with Ledger for Enhanced NFT Protection

ClubNFT, a company focused on developing advanced tools and services for NFT analysis, monitoring, and protection, is collaborating with Ledger to allow all Ledger Live app users to effortlessly create backups of their NFTs on their personal computers. This partnership aims to ensure the security and preservation of users’ collections, regardless of future events.

ClubNFT Background

Established in 2021 by Artnome’s Jason Bailey and Chris King, ClubNFT aims to safeguard artists and collectors from marketplace dependency, educate those interested in NFTs, and assist collectors in making informed decisions about their purchases. Ledger, founded in Paris in 2014, is a worldwide platform for digital assets and Web3, and a leading producer of cryptocurrency wallets. Ledger Live, an app that complements Ledger wallets, allows users to manage their wallets, install cryptocurrency apps, and trade coins.

ClubNFT’s CEO and co-founder, Jason Bailey, stated that the partnership between Ledger Live and ClubNFT is ideal for providing top-notch security and protection for NFTs. Utilizing Ledger for onchain asset backup and ClubNFT for offchain asset backup and pinning, users can ensure the long-term protection of their NFTs. Additionally, creating a ClubNFT backup is free, trustless, and does not require transaction signing.

Services Offered by ClubNFT

ClubNFT will offer Ledger users additional services and insights beyond the Ledger Live backup, including:

1. Free pinning for six months for Ledger Marketplace and Mint Pass NFT holders, with ClubNFT hosting NFT artwork and metadata in addition to the marketplace for redundancy, preventing NFT unavailability due to marketplace issues or technical problems.
2. Information on NFTs in users’ collections that adhere to best practices, such as using IPFS for off-chain content, and those that do not.
3. Identification of marketplaces that consistently follow best practices and those that do not.
4. A range of technical insights of interest to discerning collectors.

Since its launch in June 2022, ClubNFT has backed up over 2 million NFTs and pinned more than 1.5 million NFTs.
