BitMart US has added prediction markets to its US trading platform, giving customers access to event contracts across sports, economics, finance and digital assets through Plaee infrastructure.
Good to know
BitMart US now wants crypto traders to trade more than coins. The cryptocurrency exchange has launched fully compliant prediction markets, with sports contracts, economic event contracts and short term digital asset price markets available through its platform.
The rollout uses Plaee technology and gives BitMart US customers access to 405 event outcome markets. Sports contracts currently include moneylines and point spreads, while the wider menu also covers finance, economics and crypto linked outcomes.
BitMart US said:
“This launch marks a significant step forward for BitMart US, enabling its U.S. customers to trade on the outcome of real-world events across finance, economics, sports, and more – including short-term price movements on digital assets.
“BitMart US is leveraging its established trading platform, deep liquidity, and large user base to deliver a seamless prediction market experience.”
Plaee gives BitMart US the infrastructure behind the new product. The setup combines a trading interface built for prediction market sites with access to CFTC regulated event contracts in liquid markets.
Plaee CEO Leon Okun said the technology will connect with the current BitMart US platform and give traders a “regulated, safe, and engaging” prediction market experience.
BitMart US COO Daniel Huang framed the launch around access for regular traders rather than only advanced users.
“At BitMart US, our mission has always been to make trading more accessible – lowering the barriers that have historically kept everyday investors on the sidelines,” BitMart US COO Daniel Huang said. “This launch opens the door to a new category of products that our users are genuinely excited about, particularly the ability to trade on short-term crypto price movements – one of the fastest-growing segments in digital assets today.”
BitMart US said it plans to keep developing the product menu. For now, the company will offer contracts in all states except New York and Arizona, although availability may differ across some jurisdictions.
