Binance Moves NFT Service From Exchange To Wallet

Share

Binance will end NFT support on Binance Exchange and shift NFT management to Binance Wallet. Users with transferable NFTs have until 23:59 UTC on July 3, 2026 to withdraw them or lose access on the exchange platform. Binance framed the change as a wallet upgrade, but the practical message is simple: move the NFTs now.

Good to Know

  • Transferable NFTs must leave Binance Exchange by July 3, 2026.
  • Up to 100,000 users can get 1 USDC back for eligible early withdrawals.
  • Non-transferable NFTs cannot be withdrawn and will become inaccessible.

Binance Pushes NFTs Into Self Custody

Binance wants NFT users inside Binance Wallet instead of the centralized exchange interface. That means users will manage NFTs through a self-custody wallet, where they control the private keys and pay onchain gas fees.

Eligible non-CR7 NFT holders can get a 1 USDC withdrawal fee reimbursement if they withdraw to Binance Wallet Keyless through BNB Smart Chain or Ethereum between June 3 and June 17. Binance said the credit will land in Spot Accounts by July 3.

CR7 NFT holders have a separate path. They can withdraw Cristiano Ronaldo NFTs on BNB Smart Chain by July 3 and receive fee reimbursement by July 19, if they meet the conditions.

NFT Market Weakness Explains The Timing

The change fits a colder NFT market. Other platforms, including Kraken NFT, Nifty Gateway, and X2Y2, have already pulled back or closed as trading volumes fell far below 2022 highs.

For Web3 gaming, the change is not a major shock. Most gaming NFTs already sit in wallets rather than exchange custody. Still, Binance moving NFT activity out of the exchange shows where the market is heading: less centralized NFT browsing, more wallet-based ownership, and more direct Web3 use.

Binance Academy NFT certificate holders will not be able to withdraw those non-transferable NFTs. Binance said PDF certificates will replace those course-completion NFTs after the cutoff.
