Kraken is now allowing its users to buy cryptocurrencies on its platform by using Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Announced in a blog post on Tuesday, Kraken’s app will automatically connect to a user’s Apple Pay or Google Pay account.

Kraken’s Managing Director for Australia, Jonathon Miller, has told crypto magazine CoinDesk that the move is an attempt to make the user experience more “seamless.”

Previously, crypto enthusiasts on the platform had to manually copy and paste details from their internet banking application.

Miller also said:

“The integration of payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay is key to making our platform more accessible to everyone. This simplifies the purchasing process and brings the payment methods that people are used to using in their everyday life to the crypto experience.”

There will be a minimum purchase amount of $10 and a maximum purchase limit of $7,500 during a seven-day rolling period.
