Michael Rocco Wins First WSOP Gold Bracelet in Event#94, $10K NLH 6-Max Championship

Michael Rocco has finally secured his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet. Rocco bested over 502 entries in Event#94, the $10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em six-max championship event, earning a career-best $942,922. This victory pushes his lifetime tournament earnings to $7,137,887.

Before this win, Rocco had five top-three finishes in WSOP bracelet events. Just over a month ago, the 34-year-old placed third in a $25,000 buy-in high roller at the series (Event#21), won by Brek Schutten.

The tournament featured 502 players, and the top 76 finishers cashed out. Notable players who finished in the money included 2013 WSOP main event champion Ryan Riess (48th), 2021 WSOP main event champion Koray Aldemir (41st), 2015 WSOP main event champion Joe McKeehen (35th), two-time bracelet winner Joao Simao (29th), Viktor Blom (12th), two-time bracelet winner Eric Baldwin (11th), bracelet winner James Chen (10th) and Adrian Mateos (5th).
