Gus Hansen is always fun to read about, as he is probably the pro with the biggest online swings in the world. Overall, Hansen is allegedly down between $16-$19 million on online poker, but that doesn’t scare him away from the highest games in the world, as Hansen is an adrenaline junkie who just can’t get enough.
While last week was a pretty calm and stable week for Hansen, this week has started quite terribly for the great Dane. Hansen played a total of 1198 hands last night, which brought him a minus of $229,341 on the Mixed Games tables and 2-7 Triple Draw.
Hansen played a long session against the one and only Isildur1 aka Victor Blom, who ran over Hansen on the Mixed Games tables. The biggest hand ended up being a $177,142 pot which went Blom’s way, after he flops a set of 7’s, while Hansen flops top pair. River gives Hansen two pairs and he goes all-in on a reraise from Blom and thus loses with two pairs against a set.
Despite the money won against Hansen, Blom still ended as one of the biggest losers online yesterday. Trueteller and taktloss47 both won around $220,000 and tops the highest winners list.
