Colin Robinson Wins 2024 WSOP $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em Event

Colin Robinson, a resident of Anthem, Arizona, won the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em event. He outlasted 2,229 entries, earning $667,963 and his first WSOP bracelet.

Last year, Robinson finished second in the WSOP $1,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack event, winning $718,649. This time, he reached heads-up play again but clinched the top spot.

With this bracelet win, Robinson’s lifetime tournament earnings reached $2,215,711. according to HendonMob. Most of this, $1,737,103, comes from 33 in-the-money finishes at the WSOP.

The event attracted 2,229 entries, creating a prize pool of $4,959,525. The top 335 finishers received payouts. Among the notable players who made it to the third and final day but didn’t reach the final table were Jin Hoon Lee (21st), Rui Ferreira (20th), Mike Holtz (17th), Andre Akkari (12th), and Jose ‘Nacho’ Barbero (11th).

Robinson shared his feelings after the win: “The biggest feeling is definitely relief. I came into the day fifth in chips and started out very poorly… Crap if I get out of the final two tables without making the final table it’ll be a little tragic. I’m gonna play my best and whatever happens happens. Today, I guess, was my day.”
