YGG Play Teams With Delabs Games To Launch GIGACHADBAT on Abstract Chain

Share

YGG Play is broadening its publishing portfolio with a new partnership that brings Delabs Games’ latest title, GIGACHADBAT, to life on Abstract Chain. The quirky baseball-inspired game is designed for fast sessions and simple mechanics, letting players swing, score, and trade their points for YGG tokens and Abstract XP.

Good to Know

  • GIGACHADBAT launches September 18, 2025, with a LOL Land crossover map.
  • YGG Play’s LOL Land has already topped $2.5M in lifetime revenue since May 2025.
  • The title is aimed at the “Casual Degen” audience that favors light, easy Web3 gaming.

For YGG Play, the publishing deal builds on the momentum of LOL Land’s success, proving its ability to connect blockchain titles with a global audience. For Delabs, it’s a chance to showcase its next “snackable” game to nearly 26,000 eager followers already watching on X.

“We’re thrilled to partner with YGG Play on GIGACHADBAT,” said James Joonmo Kwon (JMK), co-CEO of Delabs Games. “This is more than publishing — it’s about creating a fun, snackable experience with a fast core loop, simple mechanics anyone can pick up instantly, and the added thrill of redeeming points for YGG tokens.”

Delabs is the Web3 arm of South Korea’s 4:33 Creative Lab, co-led by JMK and JC Kim. The studio is backed by Hashed, Spartan Group, and TON Ventures, with Yield Guild Games also taking early stakes in both a strategic funding round and a Series A during 2024.

The Delabs ecosystem, launched in 2023, has attracted more than 25 million users and features titles such as Rumble Racing Star, Boxing Star X, and Ragnarok Libre.

JMK, a 25-year industry veteran and former Nexon CEO, helped create iconic games like MapleStory, KartRider, and Dungeon Fighter Online, before founding 4:33 Creative Lab, where he led the success of Blade, the first mobile title to win the Korea Game Awards. He pioneered several now-standard mechanics in mobile gaming, from gyroscope-based PvP to console-style MMORPG graphics on handheld devices.

JC Kim, meanwhile, has become a recognized Web3 builder, included in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 for enterprise technology. He also leads Planetarium Labs, which delivered Immortal Rising 2 on Immutable zkEVM, and developed Verse8, a next-gen AI game engine with LLM and MCP integration.

Gabby Dizon, co-founder of Yield Guild Games, praised the collaboration:

“I really respect James, JC, and the Delabs team. They’ve built some of the world’s most successful games and bring decades of credibility and expertise to Web3. Their vision of accessible Web3 games matches our goals for the Casual Degen audience, and we’re going to make sure GIGACHADBAT reaches its real potential.”

Launch Plans

The game will debut September 18, 2025, with an exclusive GIGACHADBAT map inside LOL Land. A special launch event is also scheduled for September 22 during Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) 2025, putting the title in front of the global Web3 gaming community.
