Directive Games, the developer behind the competitive hero shooter The Machines Arena (TMA), has announced an exciting new event for players. The Play 2 Airdrop, an eight-week initiative, offers participants the chance to earn $TMA tokens by accumulating points through various in-game and out-of-game activities. This event combines entertainment with the potential for real rewards.
Players can now join the Play 2 Airdrop event, which is designed to engage both existing and new players of TMA. Participants earn points by completing tasks and challenges, which then determine their rank on the P2A Leaderboard. Higher ranks will result in more $TMA tokens during the upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE), adding a layer of competitive excitement to the gameplay.
Kent Byers, Chief Product Officer of Directive Games, emphasized the significance of this event: “This is a huge milestone for Directive Games, our team, and the amazing community we’ve been building The Machines Arena for on the Ronin Network. This is not the finish line—there’s so much more we want to do and deliver. But it definitely marks an important step where both our existing and new players can dive into TMA, earn new rewards, and enjoy some high-stakes competition.”
Kristján Einar Kristjánsson, Marketing Director at Directive Games, highlighted the event’s innovative approach: “Personally, I view this as reaching the best of both worlds. Adding the incentives that W3 gaming has to offer to a game that is already proven as a team-based PVP multiplayer in a competitive sense makes this the gaming experience I have been looking for. We have been working closely with the community to bring in the features that players want, building the game users want to play, bear or bull.”
The Play 2 Airdrop event signifies a pivotal moment for TMA and its community. By integrating rewards with competitive gameplay, Directive Games aims to enhance player engagement and satisfaction. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to creating a dynamic and rewarding gaming environment.
