OG Esports Launches into Rocket League with Star-Studded North American Roster

OG Esports, a well-known European esports company, will debut in the 2024 Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) and is expected to cause a stir in the Rocket League scene. With a formidable group of players from North America, the club is ready to show off its skills in the forthcoming competitive season.

OG Esports’ Rocket League lineup boasts an impressive array of talent:

  • Joseph “noly” Kidd (21, UK): Known for tactical expertise and team-oriented play, noly is a Red Bull player, recognized as one of the most skilled pros in the field.
  • Jacob “JKnaps” Knapman (24, Canada): With over 60 Championship titles, JKnaps brings a wealth of experience and strength to the NA-based squad.
  • Robert “comm” Kyser (20, US): A mechanical superstar, comm secured a first-place finish at Gamers8 last year, adding depth to the roster.
  • Kyle “torment” Storer, Head Coach (23, US): Former RLCS World Champion and MVP, torment takes on a coaching role, leading the team with his valuable insights.

Building a Dominant Team

The new squad was carefully put together with noly in mind, coordinating the players’ abilities and camaraderie with the principles of OG Esports. The club, which has more than ten years of combined expertise, wants to win the RLCS competitive season.

Established in 2015 by the renowned esports player Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, OG Esports rose to popularity with their historic Dota 2 victories, including several crowns at The International. With its expansion into Rocket League and now Counter-Strike, OG Esports is still influencing the esports landscape.
