NFT Holders Compete for Vapor and Chests in Apeiron Event

Apeiron and Wild Forest have joined forces for a limited-time event called the Evergreen Rift Expedition. Built around staking mechanics and powered by the Ronin network, this campaign blends strategy and rewards by offering NFT holders from both games a shot at treasure chests packed with digital loot.

The event went live on April 9 and runs until April 23. To join, players must stake at least one Apeiron Planet and one Wild Forest Skin. Those who stake more increase their chances of claiming rewards—up to six Planets and 12 Skins can be used per wallet. Token staking is also open with no limits, allowing $APRS and $WF tokens to be used in the event.

Staking NFTs and tokens during the expedition generates Luminous Vapor, the key resource needed to compete. The more Vapor collected, the better the shot at ranking higher on the leaderboard. Leftover Vapor from earlier Apeiron events also rolls over, giving returning players a bit of an edge.

The reward pool is made up of 850 Summoner Apostles and 475 Wild Forest Spirit Packs, spread across 645 treasure chests. These chests come in four types—Regular, Celestial, Empyrean, and Omega—with each type offering different combinations of rewards from both games.

Examples of chest contents include:

• Regular Chests: 1 Summoner Ticket or 2 Tiny Packs
• Celestial Chests: 5 Summoner Tickets or 2 Basic Packs or 1 Basic+ Pack
• Empyrean Chests: 2 Golden Summoner Tickets or 1 Standard Pack
• Omega Chests: 6 Golden Summoner Tickets or 1 Premium Pack

Summoner Tickets let players claim Apostle NFTs with IVs between 30 and 80, while Golden versions raise that to 85 and above. Wild Forest Packs offer chances to win units, skins, gold, shards, and $WF tokens.

Apostle Fusion Introduced for NFT Customization

Alongside the event, Apeiron has launched a new gameplay feature—Apostle Fusion. Players can now combine Apostle NFTs to increase the IV (individual value) of a chosen Apostle. The fusion process allows for mix-and-match fusing across any classes.

This update also bumps the IV cap from 100 to 110. Only through Apostle Fusion can players push their NFTs past the old limit. The more Apostles you sacrifice, and the higher their IVs, the more EXP your chosen Apostle gains in the process.

Players can access the event via the official expedition page, which is linked through Apeiron’s X (formerly Twitter) announcement. Planet NFTs can be found on the Apeiron marketplace for about 0.006 ETH, while Wild Forest Skins are listed on the Ronin Market starting at 0.17 RON.
