Necrodemic, a free-to-play third-person shooter created inside the Bullieverse ecosystem, has made its formal appearance on the Epic Games Store. Necrodemic is a wave-based PvE experience with beautiful graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5, replete with skill trees, leveling, and multiple game types. In an immersive gaming experience similar to Call of Duty’s Zombies mode, players fight against skeletons, flaming hounds, and zombie-like monsters in a third-person view with visuals reminiscent of Fortnite.
In Necrodemic, players take on hordes of undead creatures across three unique modes: Undead Rush, Quick Mode, and Last Stand.
In Undead Rush, players must survive 20 rounds of increasing difficulty, defeating enemies that drop power-ups like insta-kills and rapid-fire abilities. Points accumulated through kills allow players to unlock new areas of the map, expanding the battlefield. Currently, one map is available, showcasing two visually distinct zones that provide variety within the single setting.
Quick Mode offers a shorter, 15-minute survival challenge, using the same map but with a time-based objective. Last Stand delivers a different twist, where players defend a barrier from relentless waves of enemies. With each enemy slain, points are awarded, which players can spend in-game for upgrades like grenades and new weapons, increasing their chances of holding off the horde.
All modes are currently solo-playable, allowing players to hone their skills as they await the anticipated multiplayer competitions.
Bullieverse has hinted at leaderboard-based tournaments to earn airdrop rewards. Originally, these events were set for the game’s release, but due to a delay, the competitions are expected to roll out soon. According to a tweet from the team, “an exciting line of activations and campaigns” begins on November 11, suggesting that competitive players will soon be able to vie for rewards, including $BULL tokens, based on high scores achieved across the game’s three modes.
The game’s current Windows requirements are accessible, with a minimum of 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1650 GPU, though higher specs are recommended for optimal performance.
