Helika, a company at the forefront of AI analytics within the gaming sector, has unveiled Helika Accelerate, a $50 million accelerator program designed to propel the growth of blockchain gaming studios. This new initiative aims to provide comprehensive support to game developers around the globe, focusing on enhancing both user engagement and revenue generation through advanced AI tools and substantial financial backing.
Venture capital giants such as Pantera, Spartan Capital, and Sfermion are among the key backers, committing a collective investment of up to $50 million for promising studios chosen to participate in the program.
With a track record of collaboration with industry heavyweights like Ubisoft and Yuga Labs, the creator behind Bored Ape Yacht Club, Helika brings a wealth of expertise to the table. The accelerator program promises to offer participating studios specialized guidance in areas critical for success in the blockchain gaming world, including tokenomics, blockchain selection, data analytics, and marketing strategies.
Anton Umnov, co-founder and CEO of Helika, emphasized the accelerator’s mission to tackle the prevalent hurdles game developers face, such as securing necessary capital and establishing vital industry connections. These challenges often slow down the pace at which new games can enter the market.
Following an $8 million Series A funding round, Helika Accelerate is setting its sights on “earlier-stage studios” that are in the midst of game development and require assistance with intricate aspects like in-game economics. The use of Helika’s AI-driven analytics tools aims to shed light on player preferences and behavior, thereby shaping marketing efforts and game development for better user engagement.
Umnov also highlighted that while the focus is on blockchain gaming ventures, Helika Accelerate is open to collaborating with studios across the traditional video gaming landscape as well, indicating a broad approach to fostering innovation within the gaming industry.
