Guild of Guardians (GOG) has made its debut on Android and iOS, bringing a unique blockchain-based RPG experience to mobile gamers. This launch introduces two innovative progression features: Guardians Radiance and Enlightenment, designed to enhance gameplay and character development.
Guardian Enlightenment allows players to boost their Guardians’ power through a system called Diamonds. Each Guardian starts with a default Enlightenment level based on their rarity: Common and Rare Guardians start with 1 Diamond, Epics with 3, and Legendaries with 5. Players can enhance their Guardians up to their maximum Diamond level by collecting and sacrificing duplicate Guardians.
Common Guardians can reach up to 4 Diamonds, Rares up to 5, Epics up to 10, and Legendaries up to 15. To upgrade, players need duplicate Guardians and Faction Souls, which come from sacrificing Guardians of the same faction. GOG features three factions: Imperials, Keepers, and Redeemers.
Guardian Radiance is an exclusive feature for NFT Guardians, transforming them into Radiant Guardians using Ascension Seals. Players earn Ascension Seals by competing on leaderboards. The cost of Ascension Seals rises with each ascension but can be mitigated by sacrificing Radiant Guardians.
Ascending a Guardian bestows new powers and visual effects, making them more powerful and visually impressive. Radiant Guardians can also be traded in the marketplace. Players can enhance Radiant Guardians further by using duplicate Radiant Guardians, adding Radiant Souls, or focusing on Enlightenment first and then boosting Radiance.
The marketplace plays a crucial role in acquiring valuable Radiant Guardians or Ascension Seals. Mastering the Enlightenment and Radiance systems is key to building a formidable squad.
