After Twitter integrated Lightning payments by introducing their ‘‘tipping service’ last week, the social media platform has unveiled another crypto-friendly feature.

Next up, users will be able to display a verified NFT as their profile picture, as was shared by Twitter’s senior software engineer, Mada Aflak. Aflak shared a video showing users how to add NFTs to their profiles and get the infamous ‘verified’ badge. Soon users are assured of massive bragging rights with everyone knowing their CryptoPunk is the real deal.

As explained in Aflak’s video, the feature is simple, users can edit their profile, connect to a crypto wallet, and import their OpenSea NFT collection. After this they can upload an avatar of their digital collection.

Aflak said that they are open for feedback and other suggestions with the tool still in experimental phase.
