Argentina Elects Pro Bitcoin and Anti-Central Bank Candidate Javier Milei, New President

In a historic election, libertarian Javier Milei has won the presidential elections in Argentina. Milei, known for his strong libertarian principles, secured a decisive win with 56% of the vote, surpassing his opponent Sergio Massa by a notable margin in the election run-off. This win also positions him as the second ‘Bitcoin President’ in Latin America, following El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele, who made Bitcoin legal tender in the country two years ago on September 7, 2021.
