Leading renewable energy business Volcano Energy recently announced plans to build a cutting-edge bitcoin mining plant in El Salvador's Metapán region. Renewable Energy Powering the Future of Mining With 169 MW and 72 MW of solar and wind energy, respectively, the bitcoin mining facility will be able to reach a computing capacity of over 1.3 exahashes per second (EH/s).
