Unagi has formally unveiled UNA, the next coin from the game development company that created the blockchain sports fantasy platform Ultimate Champions. Designed to facilitate the development of a wide range of blockchain games that are creative, mainstream, and easily accessible, this new coin is expected to become the cornerstone of Unagi's Web3 gaming ecosystem. Unagi's long-term goal of creating a vast gaming environment driven by a single token is represented by UNA, which is more than just a token. UNA's mission is to become the "universal ticket to the entire range of Unagi games," bringing the platform's gaming experience together. Token Transition and Utility The principal token, UNA, takes the role of CHAMP and is required to enter all Unagi games. The changeover for current CHAMP holders will be smooth and they will get UNA on a 1:1 basis. Holders will instantly see an upgrade to UNA in their game wallets, regardless of whether CHAMP was won or purchased; this is subject to being included in a forthcoming snapshot. The community will be informed beforehand of the specifics of the snapshot. As Unagi gets ready to launch UNA on several exchanges, deposits and withdrawals will temporarily stop following the snapshot when UNA tokens will be airdropped to qualified holders. In order to preserve consistency in user advancement and usability throughout Auctions, the Pack Store, and Marketplace, in-game incentives will now be given in UNA rather than CHAMP as a result of the switch. With the release of UNA, a "extensive plan" for the following year gets underway, putting the token in a position to support Unagi's strategic expansion. The formal debut of UNA is slated for Q1 2024, as revealed on the studio's Twitter/X profile. This will usher in a new era for Unagi's blockchain gaming environment.
