For the 2024 Challenger Season, the competitive Call of Duty community will gather at FACEIT, a top online multiplayer competitive gaming platform, to participate in Challenger & Elite Qualifiers. This collaboration with Activision Blizzard, which helps ambitious players reach the esteemed Call of Duty League, marks a dramatic change in the industry. FACEIT is getting ready to hold Challenger qualifications in four regions: Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America. This is an amazing development. For up-and-coming athletes hoping to establish themselves on the professional circuit, the qualifications are an essential first step. A vibrant and intensely competitive environment is what participants can expect as the 2024 Challenger Season gets underway. Diverse Tournaments, Abundant Opportunities CUPS The Challenger Season kicks off with the return of Cups, offering players a chance to earn prizing and Challenger points during online weekend tournaments. A total of 11 Cups are scheduled for the 2024 season, with the inaugural event set for January 20-21, 2024. These Cups set the stage for competitors to showcase their skills and make an impact. OPENS The first Challengers Open of the season, hosted by the Boston Breach, will run from January 26-28 at Major I. This event's seedings will be determined by a combination of 2024 Cup 1 points and 10% of each player's 2023 Challenger points. It promises to be a thrilling competition where talent and strategy converge. ELITE The 2024 Challenger Season introduces three Challengers Elite Seasons. In North America and Europe, twelve teams, divided into two groups of six, will vie for the top eight spots. Challengers Elite Teams will have specific restrictions during their season, emphasizing fair opportunities for all competitors. Challengers Finals represent the zenith of global competitive amateur competition for Call of Duty Esports. With 16 teams in contention, FACEIT ensures a level playing field with hotel and travel accommodations provided for all competitors. Teams can go through the Regional Leaderboard (10 Teams) or the Last Chance Qualifier (6 Teams) to secure a berth in the Challengers Finals. By ensuring representation from a variety of places, this dual qualification method ups the excitement factor in the tournament. The Call of Duty community is expecting a period of fierce rivalry and chances for up-and-coming talent to compete on a worldwide scale as FACEIT takes the lead in developing the 2024 Challenger Season.
