After the Season 8 Final Era concludes, the Axie Origin Season 8 Postseason begins, bringing the Axie community new activities and updates. The Elite 8 Tournament, which takes place on May 25 at 7 PM PH / 7 AM EST, is the postseason's main event. A portion of the 3,000 AXS prize pool will be up for grabs for the top eight players in Season 8. During the show, fans may participate in a live competition and giveaway where 600 axes will be given away. The gaming experience will also be enhanced by the addition of two new axes, Bard and Machito, which offer players new tactics and experiences. Balance Updates and SLP Reward Adjustments Season 9 of Axie Origin will include changes to game mechanics and statistics as part of a balancing patch designed to maintain competition and fairness. In order to test new versions of Runes and Charms while Season 8 effects are blocked, there will be a trial period. In addition, there will soon be substantial changes to SLP awards. To maintain a 2% rate of deflation for the in-game currency and guarantee a stable and well-balanced economy, different rankings will be awarded differing amounts of SBLL during the preseason.
