As agreed back in December, PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker site, requested an offer to buy the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel in Atlatic City, New Jersey.
According to a New Jersey online gambling bill executed on February, gambling operators are needed to have a physical residence in the state. This made the Atlantic County Superior Court discontinue PokerStar’s agreement in buying the former Atlantic Club Hilton.
PokerStars was also denied it’s chance to amplify the contract by Colony Capital LLC, who is in charge of the property, as the contract expired last month.
