In a recent incident, a poker player grabbed cash and fled from a casino here in South-West Michigan.

The man was later arrested after a long Hollywood styled freeway chase that reached speeds of nearly 100 m.p.h.

The theft took place in FireKeepers Casino near Battle Creek and is operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band.

The man was arrested on Thursday night from Berrien County. He was persuaded onto eastbound I-94 by the tribal police of Nottawaeppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi.

According to the authorities, the man took an emergency turnabout to get into the westbound lanes and officers lost sight of him. Though officers in Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties also tried to stop him, he was ultimately stopped by Michigan State Police in Berrien County. No injuries due to the incident were reported.
