PKR Launches Jackpot Sit & Go’s With $10,000 Prize

The online poker environment is changing. When the poker boom came 14 years ago, the primary games were just regular cash games, regular tournaments and regular sit and go’s. Today the traffic is switching to more casino-like games where players can win a jackpot if they get lucky or settle with a minimum payout.

Pokerstars is a prime example of such, as they were the first to launch the jackpot sit and go’s where players have been able to win upwards of $1,000,000 if they hit the right sit and go and won it at the same time. Since then other operators, such as the Winning Poker Network, have also launched their own versions of the game.

Now the leading 3D poker provider PKR have announced that they have also integrated the popular sit and go variant. PKR’s version is very similar to Pokerstars’, with the top prize being 1,000 times the buy-in which equals $10,000.

Three players will be seated together in a turbo format sit and go where they will see which prize they will playing for. The three players will then battle each other and the winner gets the highest prize, which can be up to $10,000 for a $12 buy-in. The game is available in PKR’s poker platform for desktop only for now, but they are working on creating a dedicated mobile version as well.
