According to the Nevada Gaming Control Board the revenue created by online poker operations decreased once again in October. After having set a new low mark in September, October set an even lower amount with a total of $665,000 (€532,085), after September’s $693,000 revenue, which also means the lowest monthly performance of the year.
Since Ultimate Gaming decided to leave the Nevada market at the end of October, numbers are expected to decrease further, since there’s only two regulated online poker sites left in the state.
Despite the decreasing online poker revenue, the US state was able to gain an increase in total gaming revenue during October, by having a total casino gaming revenue of $913.6 million, a rise of over 1.3% on the generated $901.7 million of September.
However, when comparing the numbers year-on-year, the tendency is clear, with last year’s $954.3 million generated during the same month, being almost 4.5% higher than in 2014.
