GGPoker has announced its GGPoker World Festival, a prestigious online poker tournament series. This event, beginning on May 5 and running until June 11, promises an engaging experience for poker enthusiasts around the world. The 2024 edition of this tournament series is particularly noteworthy, with GGPoker offering an unparalleled $250M in guaranteed prize money, marking a significant increase from last year’s $200M.
This year’s festival is designed to accommodate players at all skill levels, featuring a wide range of tournaments divided into four distinct buy-in categories: the Low Tier starts at $2.50, Medium Tier at $25, High Tier at $150, and the Super Tier at $1,050. This structure ensures that regardless of a player’s budget or experience, there’s a place for them at the table.
To broaden participation, GGPoker is providing satellite tournaments throughout the series, offering players a chance to qualify for major events at a fraction of the cost. Adding to the excitement, the tournament will also include a competitive leaderboard with $2.5 million in extra prizes. This leaderboard will reward players across all tiers, distributing a total of $250K for Low Tier, $500K for Medium Tier, $750K for High Tier, and $1M for Super Tier winners, based on their performance in the series.
