BENSALEM, Pa. — Parx Casino in Bucks County, recently announced a planned expansion of $50 million that will incorporate a new 1 500-seat concert hall to be called the Xcite Centre, a new poker room and two new restaurants. It is believed that 200 full-time jobs will be created. The completion date is planned for the winter 2017-2018 season.
45 000 square feet will be built, providing a new location for the poker room as well as a specific VIP poker enclave. Lombardi’s, the New York pizza restaurant is opening a second location at Parx and the other restaurant will a Liberty Bell Gastropub which claims to be offering a fresh, farm produce approach.
