In partnership with India’s largest poker site Adda52, the World Poker Tour has brought WPT Online to Indian players for the second time around. Currently underway, the 2021 WPT Online India is running on Adda52 until August 31. The series offers over 800 events and highlight 45 trophies to be won. Best of all, a total of Rs 25 crore in guaranteed prizes is on the horizon.
The festival’s eye-catcher is ofcourse the WPT Main Event, which comes with an astonishing Rs 3 crore guarantee. The tournament has an entry fee of Rs 16,500 and takes place from August 22 to 29, featuring 10 starting flights.
The Main Event winner will be awarded with a $5,000 WPT passport which would allow the player to take part in live WPT events across the world. In addition to that, the last man standing will also bag a Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Titanium watch, a Championship trophy and 1.5 Lac worth of wallet credits from Adda52.
Another event on the schedule not to miss out on is WPT Unreal, which takes Rs 499 to enter, and features a massive Rs 1 crore in guaranteed prize pool. Starting flights for the tournament are underway, running until August 29.
Adda52 first joined forces with the WPT back in 2016. The partnership since then has made it possible for Indian players to be allowed to participate in WPT events, with the site exclusively hosting satellites and online qualifiers for selected WPT tournaments.
Last year November 2020, Adda52 was chosen by the WPT as its official partner for the first-ever WPT Online India, a massive series which featured an Rs 2.5 crore guaranteed Main Event. The partnership has continued this year and WPT and Adda52 have even up their game with bigger prizes up for grabs.
