Yield Guild Games has launched vibecode.game to help AI-made browser games find players after release. The platform arrives with a four-week global game jam run with Minds by Animoca Brands.
Good to Know
AI tools have made game creation faster, but getting attention remains difficult. YGG built vibecode.game as a publishing and discovery hub for vibe-coded games, with rankings, reviews, guides and developer profiles.
Community activity will help decide which titles rise through the platform. Any creator can upload a game, reach players and begin building an audience.
“vibecode.game is the ultimate discovery portal for vibe-coded games, and game jams are the perfect way to bring content, creators, and the community together,” said Gabby Dizon, co-founder of YGG. “Partnering with Minds by Animoca Brands will make sure that anyone can learn, experiment, and publish a game, no matter their level of experience.”
Minds by Animoca Brands will provide Game Designer Mind, a persistent AI agent that turns a short prompt into a game concept with mechanics, systems and balance ideas.
Creators can use the agent alone or combine it with other AI coding tools. YGG said the tool fills a gap between generating code and designing a game that works.
“The synergy between Minds and YGG centers on digital empowerment and making game creation fun and accessible to all,” said Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands. “Vibe coding has democratized coding, but great games still require great design. By putting the Game Designer Mind in front of YGG’s builder community, we are removing the final creative hurdle. Creators can now instantly brainstorm, refine, and balance their games using our persistent AI agents, then publish them on vibecode.game to tap into an immediate player base.”
The first VibeBlitz competition opens with a build period from July 13 to July 27. Creators must register, design a game and upload the finished entry to vibecode.game.
Community voting runs from July 27 to August 2. Gabby Dizon and Animoca Labs vice president Mo Ezeldin will judge finalists from August 3 to August 9, with winners announced on August 10.
YGG will also host a live Game Design Masterclass on Discord on July 16 from 21:00 to 22:00 GMT+8. The session will cover game systems, economics and use of Game Designer Mind.
Animoca Brands first invested in YGG during a 2021 seed round. The new project extends that relationship into AI game creation and browser publishing.
