Arkansas is among the increasing list of states that have outlawed greyhound racing. Since 2022, it has been prohibited in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, among five other states. As evidence that the movement against greyhound racing is not limited to the US, similar prohibitions have recently been implemented in Wales and New Zealand.

Growing worries over the treatment of racing dogs led to the move. Reports of high injury rates and dog fatalities have fueled public indignation and the push for stricter laws.

Mando emphasized Yeet’s focus, stating: “Yeet’s tagline is Crypto’s Casino—meaning it’s built by crypto people, for crypto people. We use crypto as payment rails, but it’s much more than that—our brand, team, and even the games themselves are deeply ingrained in crypto culture.”

While the platform won’t initially use on-chain games, provably fair gaming could be introduced later with verifiable on-chain randomness.

Social Engagement and Expansion Plans

Yeet plans to enhance accessibility through a Telegram bot for users to play directly within the app, a format that’s become popular for meme coin trading. Combining social interaction with gambling is expected to drive user engagement.

To build its community, Yeet will introduce a points-based rewards system leading to an airdrop and offer a multi-tier affiliate program with VIP rewards. Influential crypto personalities, including traders and meme account operators, will support its growth.

While U.S. users are excluded due to legal restrictions, Yeet will focus on markets in Asia, Latin America, Africa, Canada, and select European countries where crypto gambling is gaining traction. The platform will accept deposits from Ethereum-compatible chains, Solana, and Bitcoin, providing flexibility for players.

With its crypto-native approach, Yeet aims to differentiate itself from established competitors like Stake, Rollbit, and Shuffle. Lamb highlighted this strategy, saying: “Yeet isn’t trying to compete with these platforms. We’re offering something they don’t. We are Crypto’s Casino.”

As Yeet moves toward launch, it joins a growing wave of web3-focused gambling platforms seeking to capture the interest of crypto enthusiasts.
