Rebel Bots: Epic War, the newest game from blockchain game studio Xoilium, is currently accessible on iOS and Android via the Play Store and App Store.
Player versus player (PvP) warfare is the main focus of Rebel Bots: Epic War, a free-to-play real-time strategy (RTS) game that is similar to well-known games like Clash Royale. Two players compete against one another in each match, with each defending their Commander unit and attacking the side towers of the opposition. It’s match over if you lose the Commander.
After winning battles, players receive Loot Chests, which hold goodies like Gold, the game’s primary currency, and a variety of upgradeable cards. Depending on the level, cards can be upgraded to increase attributes like damage and hit points, but doing so costs different sums of gold.
In Rebel Bots: Epic War, players build a battle deck comprising up to 8 cards, excluding the Commander, from a pool of 55 different unit cards. During matches, players manage a hand of 4 cards at a time, each with its own Mana or Energy cost that regenerates over time.
The game also features diverse Commanders categorized into Robots and Humans, each with unique abilities that players can strategically deploy in battles. New Commanders can be unlocked using Gems, adding depth to tactical gameplay.
Gems serve as the premium currency, obtainable through in-app purchases or daily bonuses, crucial for unlocking premium content like the Battle Pass. Rebel Coins, earned from tournaments and leagues, are used for purchasing cosmetic tower skins and potentially convertible into on-chain tokens in the future.
Beyond standard gameplay, Rebel Bots: Epic War offers social features such as friend invitations and clan formations. Players can challenge friends to friendly matches, join or create clans, and communicate via dedicated guild chats and game-specific emotes. Future updates may include multiplayer modes like 2v2 battles.
