Microsoft and Ubisoft have added free PC access for 13 Ubisoft games already owned digitally on Xbox consoles. Eligible players can claim the PC editions through Ubisoft Connect without buying another copy.
Good to Know
The eligible list includes Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising and Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.
Riders Republic, Skull and Bones, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Rainbow Six Extraction, Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs Legion also qualify.
Players need the digital Xbox console edition. Physical discs do not qualify, and the benefit only runs from console to PC.
New digital purchases now include both versions immediately. Earlier Xbox owners may need to wait until August 4 while Microsoft completes the library rollout. Ubisoft recommends installing the latest Ubisoft Connect version before checking for access.
Most owned editions, season passes and downloadable content will transfer. In-game currency and other consumable items remain excluded. Cross-progression support may carry saves and compatible content between platforms for selected games.
The wider agreement also brings more Ubisoft premium editions and add-ons to the Xbox PC app. Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Skull and Bones and Rainbow Six Siege feature among the expanded PC catalogue.
The free access offer gives console buyers a practical way to switch to higher frame rates, keyboard and mouse controls or a different PC setup. Games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Riders Republic and The Crew Motorfest may benefit most from the extra control options.
