Wildz has formally entered the Counter-Strike 2 esport scene with the introduction of the Wildz Invitational, a competitive competition with a €25,000 prize fund. This December, Wildz hopes to bring together the best CS2 teams in Europe by partnering with Alliance and Challengermode.
All European teams have the opportunity to play in the Wildz Invitational thanks to its inclusive style. The remaining seats will be filled through two online open qualifiers, with four teams receiving direct invitations to the playoffs. The best-of-one (BO1), single-elimination format of the qualifiers means that the top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs.
The playoff stage, held on December 21 and 22, will feature eight teams competing in a single-elimination, best-of-three (BO3) format. All matches will be hosted online via Challengermode, ensuring accessibility for players across Europe.
Teams will battle for the championship title and a significant share of the prize pool, which is distributed as follows:
Wildz’s foray into Counter-Strike 2 marks a significant step in its esports journey. Nathan Bonello, Esports Specialist at Wildz, expressed excitement about this initiative, stating:
“We at Wildz have been huge fans of Counter-Strike for many years. When the opportunity arose, everyone at Wildz jumped at the idea of being able to sponsor and host a tournament to showcase Europe’s top CS teams.”
Bonello emphasized that this tournament is just the beginning, adding: “This is just the first of many Wildz esports activities to come, we hope that the CS players and fans worldwide can enjoy our first-ever Wildz Invitational tournament together. May the best team win!”
Wildz invites European teams to compete for the glory of being crowned the first Wildz Champions. Sign-ups are now open.
