The creators of the upcoming free-to-play mobile card RTS game Wild Forest, Zillion Whales, have successfully concluded a seed fundraising round, raising $500,000. Notable names like Spartan, Kahuna, OKX Ventures, and Animoca Brands are among the investors in this round.
Zillion Whales purposefully kept the fundraising low, despite the fact that the sum raised could seem little in comparison to other cryptocurrency investment rounds. The choice was taken to set aside more tokens for an impending Community Round so that players of the game might take part and profit from the project’s success.
Commenting on the funding success, Zillion Whales expressed gratitude for the support from established companies. They emphasized the significance of strategic partnerships in shaping the future of Wild Forest and highlighted the validation that comes with funding from industry leaders.
“We are very careful picking our partnerships that directly impact the future of Wild Forest. We are fortunate to be funded by the companies of this scale. It’s an important validation milestone for us which opens access to world-class experts and valuable connections.”
After the initial round of fundraising, Zillion Whales commemorated a noteworthy achievement as Wild Forest attained 100,000 installations. The game is still gaining popularity on mobile devices even though it is still in the pre-launch phase. Plans are in place for a Windows and Mac user-friendly PC version of the game on the Mavis Hub.
Zillion Whales has launched the Play-to-Airdrop Season 1 for Wild Forest in addition to financial accomplishments. This project, which will soon come to an end, excites the environment of the game and further involves the community.
