Fantasy Top has geared up for its biggest changes yet in Season 5. Developers have reworked leagues, prizes, and competitive formats so players, whether casual or hardcore, find something that suits them.
Good to Know
Fantasy Top is a Web3 SocialFi trading card game built on the Blast layer-2 network. Players collect NFT cards called Heroes, each linked to a crypto influencer from platform X. Points in tournaments come from how well those influencers perform on X—things like engagement, impressions, etc. The more active or engaging an influencer is, the more points their cards can earn. Cards have rarity (with multipliers) and stars (which reflect recent performance) to influence potential.
Each deck needs five Hero cards. Players can buy card packs or trade on the marketplace. Pack supply can vary a lot; rare cards are scarcer. Free-to-play is limited—must own NFT Heroes for many tournaments.
Introduced in this new season are updated league tiers, altered prize pools, and extra competitive layers so more players can participate meaningfully. Here are the highlights:
A fresh league slot appears between Gold and Diamond. It allows up to three Epic cards and one Legendary card per deck, with a salary cap of 25 Stars. Platinum has a prize pool of 4.20 ETH, with the winner getting 0.4 ETH. Almost 1,000 players will earn rewards in this tier.
What used to be called Elite League now ranks highest. Only the best players climb here. The prize pool is 6.20 ETH, and first place receives 1 ETH. Ranks 1-99 share in the ETH pool; ranks beyond that (up to ~800 more) get Fragments and FAN points.
Developers didn’t just stop at reshaping leagues. They added more ways to earn:
These tweaks respond to past feedback. Players asked for more balance between casual and serious competition. Top leagues have steeper rewards now. Lower leagues offer flatter distributions so more players feel they have a chance.
Fantasy Top blends strategy, prediction, and social media metrics. Key elements:

Exact start date for the new season hasn’t been announced. Players should be ready for evolving features, and possibly shifts in how scoring or rewards work further down the line.
