The WAX Blockchain team has provided a comprehensive vision for the future by laying out an exhaustive plan for 2024 that outlines important milestones across its varied divisions.
The Cloud Wallet division intends to launch its dApp as a native iOS and Android mobile app in the first quarter of 2024, providing customers with a more approachable and intuitive experience. The Unity SDK 2.0 is also expected to be released, and it is made to work well with mobile Cloud Wallet applications. Further features, such as social features, side chain support, a premium WAX name service, and support for EVM side chains, will be released in upcoming quarters.
The Blockchain Protocol division is preparing to launch a Node Launcher and enhance tokenomics in Q1, including optional pay-per-transaction fees and variable inflation. A strong basis for WAX transactions will be provided via the deployment of a Side Chain Launcher, an EVM Side Chain Launcher, RAM enhancements, an Antelope 5.0 update, an Instant Finality mechanism, and tokenomics optimizations in Q2 and beyond.
The goal of the Counter-Strike 2 skin trading platform, vStrike Marketplace, which launches in Q1, is to give players a safe, decentralized environment. Improvements will be made to the vIRL Marketplace, and in Q2, the Universal Listing Service—which provides decentralized governance and resilience against dependency on third parties—will be introduced. In Q3 and Q4, social features and further improvements are planned.
For the first two quarters of 2024, Tyranno Studios—WAX’s game division—has specific plans for Blockchain Brawlers, Music Mogul, and Spin Tycoon. Through their relationship with Amazon Prime Gaming, Blockchain Brawlers will host the first season of the B.E.S.T. Tournament of Champions in Q1 and then unique in-game drops in Q2.
In Q1, Music Mogul plans to provide AI-driven generative music and worldwide streaming contests; in Q2, additional lyrical genres, a redesigned scoreboard, Burning Cred Comp 2.0, and premium Crew and Gear will be added.
In Q1, Spin Tycoon will go into open beta. In Q2, there are plans to deploy the game on mobile devices and add more casinos, units, and a leaderboard competition.
