In a significant change to his stance on cryptocurrencies, former President Donald Trump has released a new line of digital trading cards on the Bitcoin blockchain. By using Bitcoin Ordinals, the Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards link every digital item to a distinct satoshi, the smallest unit of Bitcoin.
Holders of at least 100 NFTs from Trump’s previous “Mugshot Edition” are the only ones with access to this collection. Beginning on January 9 and ending on January 31, the campaign gives collectors a chance to pick up the cards. There are plans to expand to 200 cards from the initial 160 that have been introduced.
The addition of 47 digital cards together with real cards is a noteworthy feature. A piece of the suit Trump wore during his recent arrest in Georgia is shown on each card.
One of the top NFT marketplaces, Magic Eden, currently has 21 cards for sale. The starting price is 0.177 BTC, or around $17,000. This endeavor highlights Trump’s increasing adoption of blockchain technology and marks his first use of Bitcoin Ordinals.

His earlier digital trading cards, launched on Ethereum, were a commercial triumph, generating $24.3 million from over 56,000 sales.

He pledged to establish the United States as the “crypto capital of the world” at the Bitcoin2024 conference. His actions, like as supporting stablecoins and starting the DeFi project World Liberty Financial, demonstrate his dedication.
