With its rapid expansion, Catizen has joined the ranks of other well-known Telegram cryptocurrency games. Pluto Studio said on Monday that the game has now drawn almost 25 million players, while it is still unknown how much TOP invested.
Catizen offers engaging puzzle-matching mechanics, allowing players to merge and upgrade felines in a cat cafe. The game’s primary appeal lies in the potential to earn a share of the upcoming token airdrop. Pluto Studio announced that it will distribute 43% of the total token supply via an airdrop to players, with the token launching on the TON blockchain.
TOP has a history of developing popular Telegram-based applications, including the widely-used Wallet bot and the pioneering Notcoin game, which ignited the trend of crypto games on Telegram earlier this year.

In addition to investing in Pluto Studio, TOP announced another investment in Akedo Games on Monday. Akedo Games, which includes developers with experience on titles such as League of Legends and PUBG Mobile, is developing a virtual pet game for Telegram. This new game, called AkeDog, will allow players to collect, nurture, and battle virtual pets, further expanding the diversity of gaming options on the platform.
