Skyesports, a global leader in gaming and esports community building, has announced the venue for the highly anticipated Skyesports Championship 2024. This $300,000 Counter-Strike 2 tournament will take place from July 23 to 28 at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai, India. The event promises to bring together 12 top teams in an exciting competition.

The Skyesports Championship will feature two stages: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. The Group Stage runs from July 23 to 25, where 12 teams, split into two groups, will compete in a single round-robin format. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs. This stage will follow a “semi-LAN” format, with teams competing from remote bootcamps at the Taj Lands End.
The Playoffs will occur on July 27 and 28 on the main stage at the Taj Lands End. Here, the top six teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket to claim the championship title. Fans can expect plenty of surprises throughout the Skyesports Championship 2024.
The participating teams are:
Aurora Esports, previous champions of Skyesports events like the $350,000 Skyesports Masters 2024 and Skyesports Grand Slam 2024, will be competing again. Other notable teams include Turkey’s Eternal Fire, Mongolia’s The Mongolz, and Europe’s ENCE, Bleed Esports, and Revenant Esports.
Skyesports held open qualifiers in Europe and India, awarding direct slots to True Rippers (India) and 3DMAX (Europe) for the main event. The tournament will be streamed live on Skyesports’ YouTube and Twitch channels. Broadcasts will be available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Russian, Portuguese, and Mongolian, highlighting the global appeal of the Skyesports Championship.
Skyesports Championship, India’s longest-running homegrown esports IP, began as a regional competition in 2018. It has since grown significantly, becoming one of the most prestigious esports events in 2024.
