Together, Stratton Studios, Chain Games, and the PGA Tour have unveiled PGA Tour Rise, an exciting new project. With the use of blockchain technology, this new web3 golf game aims to completely change how fans interact with the game.

PGA Tour Rise is going to provide a revolutionary golf experience across web browsers and mobile devices alike. Players can climb the leaderboards, compete in live tournaments on famous golf courses, and win “Rise Bucks” for upgrades in this interactive game. With the help of the game’s adjustable golf equipment and character upgrades, players can go from amateur to elite golfers.

Players will also have the opportunity to collect and trade unique NFT golf assets, including equipment and digital memorabilia. Scheduled for a full launch in 2026, PGA Tour Rise will be accessible on Android, iOS, and web browsers. The specific blockchain platform for the game will be announced at a later date.

PGA Tour’s SVP of Licensing & Merchandising, Matt Iofredo, shared enthusiasm about the collaboration: “The TOUR looks forward to working alongside Stratton Studios and Chain Games as we continue to connect and engage with golf enthusiasts and gamers alike. By integrating Web3 technology in golf games through our collaboration with these two innovative organizations, we are pushing the boundary of what’s possible in sports games.”

Exciting Minigames and Features

Before the full release, golf fans can look forward to a range of engaging minigames. The first minigame is expected to launch around December 2024, with possibilities including hole-in-one challenges, precision putting contests, and long drive competitions. These minigames aim to provide a taste of the full PGA Tour Rise experience while keeping players entertained and involved.
