Renowned for its blockchain gaming environment, Spielworks has purchased the well-liked massively multiplayer online role-playing game Chainmonsters. The goal of this purchase is to make Chainmonsters a more elite Web3 gaming platform.
Spielworks uses the Wasder social app, AtomicHub NFT marketplace, and Wombat gaming software to bring blockchain gaming into the public. Spielworks facilitates safe token management and actual ownership of digital assets with more than 200 partnerships and 7 million users.
Chainmonsters is an MMORPG where players capture, train, and battle creatures known as Chainmons. Each Chainmon is represented as an NFT, combining classic role-playing elements with blockchain technology. This game has cultivated a dedicated community of over 200,000 users.
The acquisition marks Spielworks’ entry into Web3 game publishing. Adrian Krion, CEO of Spielworks, stated, “With Chainmonsters, we’re building value – not just for our own ecosystem, but for Web3 gaming overall. As a publisher, we’ll be supporting quality games on both mobile and desktop, making them accessible for all.”
Spielworks intends to spearhead the next wave of blockchain games, starting with Chainmonsters.
Millions more people will be able to access Chainmonsters on PC, mobile, and iOS thanks to its integration with Spielworks’ platforms. With the addition of social elements, incentive systems, and asset distribution, this integration will improve the game.
Maximilian Weber, Game Director at Chainmonsters, highlighted the collaboration’s benefits: “With the support of Spielworks, we can now accelerate everything we’ve built, offering new opportunities for players both old and new. We’re looking forward to the future of Chainmonsters and realizing our vision for the game.”
