Space Nation Online, a space-themed MMORPG for PC, officially entered its soft launch phase globally on Immutable on September 27th. This marks the beginning of an exciting six-week period, where player progress is capped at level 50. Following this phase, the level cap will increase to 60, offering players more room to grow and explore new in-game features.
During the introductory period, players can look forward to new gameplay elements like Guild Planet Occupation, designed to enhance player interaction and strategy. Known for its engaging quests, PvP battles, and Guild vs Guild combat, Space Nation Online aims to attract both traditional (web2) and blockchain (web3) gamers. The game prioritizes a fun, gameplay-first experience, blending the best of both worlds.
This launch is only the beginning for the Space Nation IP. Future expansions are already planned, including an animated short, spinoff games, and a potential TV series. The game’s co-founders, Jerome Wu and Tony Tang, along with film industry veterans Roland Emmerich and Marco Weber, bring their combined expertise in gaming and Hollywood storytelling to bring this ambitious vision to life.
Jerome Wu, CEO of Space Nation Online, expressed appreciation for the support of beta testers, stating, “From the very beginning, the Space Nation team has been focused on one goal: To deliver an amazing MMORPG experience that is fun to play and sustained by a strong, community-owned economy.” The soft launch now opens the door to a broader community of Pioneers eager to explore the vast universe of Space Nation.
The game’s development continues to be fueled by community feedback, ensuring that Space Nation remains both engaging and player-driven.
