Skrice Studios, a blockchain game company, has released Heroes of Mavia, a mobile strategy game, together with the Web Ruby Marketplace. The Web3 ecology of the game has advanced significantly with the launch of this new platform, which is powered by Base.
With ambitions to soon include $MAVIA tokens, the Web Ruby Marketplace provides a browser-based marketplace for players to exchange in-game assets using Ruby. The Ruby Marketplace, which was introduced in-game earlier this year, is essentially a web counterpart of this marketplace. On PCs, players can trade easily by connecting their external wallets to their game accounts.
Skins and decorations can be traded on the web version, much like in the in-game marketplace. Additionally, it offers a range of economic facts, including sales numbers, total volume, and top owners. Users have access to their owned things, portfolio value, and Ruby balance. The portfolio value gives users a complete picture of their assets by combining the worth of their owned products with their Ruby balance.
As of the now, the marketplace only allows transactions in Ruby; integration with the $MAVIA coin is not expected to happen until November 2024. Players will be able to exchange Ruby for $MAVIA and trade things using the governance token as a result.
To celebrate the launch, Skrice Studios has announced a 1 million Ruby giveaway. For the first 30 days, 100 transactions made through the Web Marketplace daily will randomly reward both buyers and sellers with 150 Ruby each. By the end of this period, 100k Ruby will be distributed among selected transactions.
Looking ahead, the Heroes of Mavia team plans several updates for the remainder of 2024. In October, players can expect Mavia Land NFT integration and the introduction of a new hero, Warlord, who is set to enhance base defenses and strategic attacks. The $MAVIA token will integrate into the Web Marketplace in November, coinciding with the launch of the Ruby Exchange. This will be celebrated with a new NFT mint and the addition of the Ice Bomb Trap, which will temporarily freeze enemy units.
A brand-new NFT Crafting feature and Headquarters 9 (HQ 9) are coming in December, offering previously unheard-of advancements in Web3 gameplay. To further increase trading efficiency, an arbitrage tool will be added to the web marketplace. Additionally, the team is working on an exciting roadmap that promises big achievements for both traders and gamers in Q1 and Q2 of 2025.
