Share

The Red Bull Golden Letters tournament is set to take over London’s Red Bull Gaming Sphere for its third year on September 28-29. This grassroots TEKKEN 8 event promises an exhilarating weekend, featuring four emerging pro players alongside 16 elite competitors, all vying for the coveted title of Red Bull Golden Letters champion.

Highlighting this year’s event are notable pro players, including Mohammed “the-SAM-brother” Al Jabri, EVO 2024 runner-up Atif “Atif” Ijaz, Kane “KaneAndTrench” Heartfield, and the inaugural champion Richie “Ayorichie” Olusanya. The competition will adopt a unique format, deviating from traditional TEKKEN styles to create unforgettable matches. Participants will showcase their skills in a first-to-three race, with “PERFECT” and “GREAT” scores granting players automatic wins. This approach encourages bold gameplay for greater rewards.

As Red Bull Golden Letters returns, players will experience a new structure with an expanded global open qualifier system. Four new pro players will join the tournament, facing off against 16 of the world’s best TEKKEN competitors.

Immersive Experience and Schedule

This year introduces a 20-player group stage, where participants will battle for a chance to enter the 12-player elimination bracket on the second day. The Red Bull Gaming Sphere will transform into an immersive golden bank vault, adding to the excitement of the event.

Among the invited legends are Red Bull Player and five-time EVO champion Arslan “Arslan Ash” Siddique and Hoa “Anakin” Luu. Joining them are South Korean stars Lim “Ulsan” Soo-hoon, Kim “JDCR” Hyun-jin, and Jae-hyun “CherryBerryMango” Kim. Also returning to defend his title is Richie “Ayorichie” Olusanya, alongside British pro Hasan “JoKa” Rehman.
