Ubisoft has announced its ambitious year-long plan for Rainbow Six Siege’s ninth year, shortly after the conclusion of the Six Invitational, the game’s largest esports event to date, held in Brazil. The roadmap offers a sneak peek into future updates categorized into major features, player protection, game balancing, enhancements for player comfort, and improvements for new player onboarding. This initiative highlights Ubisoft’s effort to maintain the game’s growth and popularity by introducing Operation Deadly Omen and various other enhancements.

Operation Deadly Omen, unveiled at the Six Invitational’s closing in Sao Paulo, introduces a new Operator, modifies attachments, ADS, shield mechanics, adds a new Locker inventory mode, and implements a series of updates across the board.
