The 2024 Professional Champions League (PCL) season promises an exhilarating six-week journey, set to kick off from April 20th until May 11th. With a staggering total prize pool of 3 million RMB (€386,115.42), anticipation is running high as players gear up for intense competition.
In the initial phase, 24 PCL clubs will be evenly distributed into three groups: A, B, and C. Over the course of five rounds, each group will engage in a single round-robin format, featuring three match days per round and six matches per day. Notably, the grouping in subsequent rounds will follow a snake format based on previous point rankings.

Following the regular season, the top 16 teams will progress to the playoffs, a stage brimming with heightened stakes and adrenaline. With three rounds of intense competition, comprising six matches per round, teams will accumulate match points. The final ranking will be determined based on the cumulative match points earned throughout the playoffs.

Notably, Global Partner teams (GPT) will secure direct entry to PUBG Global Series (PGS) 3 and 4, underscoring the high stakes of the PCL. Additionally, the two highest-ranked teams from the Spring Tournament will also advance to PGS 3 and 4. Conversely, teams at the bottom of the standings will face relegation to the PCLP.
During a recent PCL team meeting, it was confirmed that both PGS3 and PGS4 will take place in China, scheduled for May and June, respectively. With fervent anticipation and intense rivalries on the horizon, the PCL 2024 season is poised to captivate audiences worldwide.
