Pixels, a gaming project on the Ronin blockchain that started in November 2023, has recently achieved another milestone by surpassing two million lifetime wallets. This achievement underscores the project’s rapid growth and popularity within the blockchain gaming community. According to DappRadar, Pixels has about 625,000 daily active unique wallets, highlighting its active user base. Back in March of this year, Pixels had already surpassed the 1.1 million wallets.
The success of Pixels is largely due to several strategic initiatives, such as play-to-airdrop events and collaborations with notable entities like Mocaverse and Yield Guild Gaming. These efforts have not only enhanced the project’s visibility but have also coincided with a broader increase in positive sentiment across the cryptocurrency landscape, particularly in gaming projects that launch tokens.
The blockchain gaming sector as a whole is witnessing unprecedented levels of activity. A report by Joel John on the Decentralised Substack shows that the market cap for the top 33 blockchain gaming ecosystem tokens has reached $20 billion. Among these, the Immutable’s IMX token stands out with a market cap of $4.4 billion.
