OneFootball, a leading digital football platform with over 200 million fans, has announced the launch of the OneFootball Club (OFC). This new initiative, developed in partnership with Animoca Brands and built on Base, aims to reward fan loyalty on a global scale.
The OFC is the first digital football club designed to recognize and reward the world’s most engaged football fans. It celebrates fan engagement by encouraging supporters to document, share, and showcase their experiences within a community of like-minded individuals. Fans’ profiles will evolve and become unique, allowing them to compete on global leaderboards for rewards, achievements, and exclusive benefits. This gamified fan journey will be integrated across the entire OneFootball ecosystem, providing a free platform for fans to express their passion for football.
In February 2024, OneFootball released an alpha version of the OFC to a select group of external users, attracting over 300,000 participants. The next phase of the rollout is planned for July 2024.
